SRK Talking of the superhero film RA 1

Talking of the superhero film RA 1, Khan says his shoulder continues to be a worry.

I wanted to make it, and I want to start it. Prashant (Shah, line producer for My Name Is Khan) is the producer here, and I’ve been troubling him for months now. Part of it is to be shot here. It’s a special film for me. I want to put on my tights and my kids blanket on my back. I want to do this film for my children. I’ve always wanted to make a superhero film, but I never had six-pack abs. Now that I have them, I want to do this. It’s not an animation film, as many people believe; I would like to clarify that. It’s a live action film.

I’m getting a little depressed about my injury because for me to do something physically active, such as Farah Khan’s Happy New Year, Don 2 or Ravan (RA 1) I have to be physically fit, and I don’t see that happening until about October or November. These are the three films that I will start working on as soon as I get better.”

David Benullo to write screenplay of Ra.1

SRK has recovered from his shoulder injury and is now now days working on his next home production Ra.1.Reports are that king khan wants this movie tol be very different from all the super hero movie in Bollywood so far. And to make it different Sharukh Khan has roped in hollywood’s famous writer-director David Benullo. Its also reprted that Shah Rukh himself is also taking very keen interest in the scripting of 'Ra.1'.

Ra.1 V/s Don-2

There are reports that there may be some fight for SRK's date between his home production Ra.1 and Excel Entertainment's Don-2.Reports also suggest that Shah Rukh will start shooting for Ra.1 later this year and for Don-2 mid 2010.

Right now he is busy in shooting for good friend Karan's My Name is khan (MNIK) with Kajol.

SRK's next movie Ra.1

SRK’s next movie titled as “Ra.1” in the direction of Anubhav Sinha (Director of Dus & Tum bin), produced by Red Chillies.Ra.1 will have Shahrukh playing the role of a superhero and thus the movie will have lots of special effects and sound effects. The tech savvy SRK has come up with this very unique title “Ra.1” for the hi-tech sci-fi film.Also the title is very similar to Abhishek's upcoming movie Ravana with Mani Ratnam.The shooting for Ra.1 will start later this year and it may release in mid-2010.

Right now SRK is busy in shooting of Karan’s My Name Is Khan (MNIK) with Kajol.
